New Player and Returning Players Guide
The new player guide is intended to help both new and returning players. The guide covers a wide range of topics including; skills, money making, and some early-game content in Old School RuneScape.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO RETURNING PLAYERS
Account stats does not carry over from the original game! All accounts will start fresh on Tutorial Island! Account progression is not shared between Old School RuneScape and RuneScape. You can use the same account to play both games!

Don't get fooled by going on the Fandom/Wikia page. That's not up to date and it's full of annoying ads.

oldschool.runescape.wiki is the best source of information.

I'm so glad they got this site up and that all updates are seemingly up to the minute.

Legit the best game wiki and team behind it in existence.

For any new players, there is a Wiki button ingame! Click it and click ANYTHING you can see or that you have in your inventory and it will automatically open up the Wiki page for it.

You can also right click and search using this button for specific things, from within the game.
