Anti-aliasing fix (UPDATED)
由 Professor Yurabay 制作
Fix the dumb anti-aliasing that this game comes with out of the box. Works for NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. (Note, this is a moderate fix, there will still be some slight jaggys)

If you're on an Nvidia GPU:
Close P5S before configuring these settings!

  • Right click anywhere on your desktop > Nvidia Control Panel

  • On the left side panel, click "Manage 3D settings".

  • Click the "Program Settings" tab.

  • In the dropdown menu, select P5S (might appear as game.exe). If it doesn't show up, simply click "Add" and navigate to your game's download folder (Ex: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\P5S) and select the exe file.

  • Once added, change the following settings:

  • When done, click "Apply" and close the Nvidia control panel.

  • Start P5S.

Voila, fixed. Note, this may impact performance, so please be sure your PC can handle these setting changes as they may not work for everyone.
If you're on an AMD GPU:
Submitted by Xeizihr

  • For AMD, in the Radeon Menu, you go to the gaming category.

  • Click P5S and go to advance at the bottom.

  • From there you find the anti-aliasing section and customize to your likening.

  • You have to use Morphological Anti-Aliasing (MLAA) over the other methods offered in the AMD Radeon Software because those methods only affect DirectX 9 applications and Persona 5 Strikers uses DirectX 11 (Submitted by Vampire Queen)
Optional: Workaround fix by Alfex
(Original post made by Alfex, just posting it here to keep this guide up to date)

Open the game settings and go to Config > Graphics Settings > Disable Bloom, Anti-Alasing, and Radial Blur. These are all useless filters that make the game even more blurry.

Now go to the bottom of the Graphics Settings and set the Resolution Scale to something higher than 1.0, the higher the better. I have chosen 2.0 for my game. I have a mid range GPU and still keep a 60FPS lock at all times. (This game is not that difficult to run).

Once you apply the new resolution scale you won't notice a difference as this setting is also somewhat broken and requires a refresh.

To refresh and apply the new resolution change go to Config > Display Settings > Change your display setting mode to something other than the current selection, apply it and then change it back.

For example if your game is currently set on Fullscreen, change it to Windowed mode and apply the setting. Now go back and change it to Fullscreen. This causes the game to refresh the display and correctly applies the new Resolution Scale settings.

IF YOU SKIP THE STEP ABOVE YOU MAY NOT NOTICE A DIFFERENCE AS THE RESOLUTION SCALE WILL NOT HAVE APPLIED CORRECTLY.

Thank you so much. Damn, I didn't remember the AA being this terrible last time I played the game, was gonna be super distracting if there wasn't a fix for it.

I'm using a 2160 resolution with Nvidia. I had very little jagged edges with the games base settings, but thought I'd try this. I also took the liberty of enhancing a few other things just to mess around with my graphics and now my game looks like an E3 teaser.

It is enhancing the anti-aliasing in the game, so keep it on in game.

For Nvidia GPU method, do you need to turn on or turn off AA in the game settings? I am using turn off option, but I'm not so sure this is right.

The game already uses FXAA, the only real thing you need to do here is set it to enhance application setting and use x4-8. increasing sharpness from nvidia CP helps too.

Thanks! I've updated the guide with fixes for AMD cards as well.
