Do not go and check the machine again until you want to continue the game. You can keep planting seeds and harvesting squashes to get a series of achievements here:

• 10 squashes Silver Gardener
  
• 50 squashes Gold Gardener
  
• 100 squashes Platinum Gardener
  
• 500 squashes Crazy Gardener
