DB Silberling BDnf 738 (Hasenkasten)

In the late 1950s the Deutsche Bundesbahn needed cabcars, also known as controllcars for their growing fleet of push train compatible locomotives. They decides, to simply modify an existing Railcar of the "n-Wagen" or "Silberlinge" by virtually creating two little windows in the front, swap the Toilet with an cabin for the driver and have a go. One can immagine how terrifing it had to be to drive one of those cars, sitting right on the edge of an very light, up to 120 km/h fast Railcar, many engeneers/drivers even refused to drive the train in this tiny, windy, cold and just a bit too dangerous Cab, thats where the Name "Hasenkasten" or in english "rabbit box" came from.

once you are comfortable with driving my V100, there isn´t too much to worry about in the driving trailer.

There are only a few things, you should know:
1. The Curcuitbreaker "Batteriestrom II" MUST be active in the loco
2. The driving has its own Generator, which is driven from the wheels, so, if you stand for too long, your Lights go out and the heating is gone, controlls should still be working.
