Mid-1890's Queen Anne

Description
The height of the Gilded Age lay at your fingertips!

A grand old beauty, this conspicuous crowd-pleaser has all of the Victorian era accoutrements. Bay windows, gothic rooflines, chamfered corners, multiple fireplaces, dramatic wraparound porch with elegant brackets - and of course, the piece de resistance, the peaked corner turret.

The workshop has a dearth of of 1880s-1900s Queen Anne houses. This helps to fill the gap. And, as you can see from the first screenshot, it pairs perfectly with Khrysler's similar 19th century Cleveland Home. I hear that cbudd may be releasing some Queen Annes soon too :)

Description

This is a fabled Queen Anne-style Victorian "mansion" home. They're the visually complex dream houses that make you appreciate your modest heating bill. The place you pass on a roadtrip as a kid and imagine having that sweet tower bedroom.

It's perfect for mid-street or corner lots in all manner of settings. Be it an urban core, streetcar suburb, quiet farmstead or manor hill, the Queen Anne commands any neighborhood. It also fits a wide variety of US/CA settings - these gals exist in San Fran & Atlanta, Denver & Poughkeepsie. I've seen them in bayous and Northern bays. Plenty exist in the wealthy zip codes of Rust Belt exurbs. And, you'll even spot remote stalwarts across the long stretches of the Great Plains.

I plan to make a less sedate, more dramatic sister to this one shortly. Also have the last run of (actual Victorian) Pittsburgh row houses coming out soon - keep your eyes peeled!

(PS - the final screenshot is an earlier pic of the asset - I since fixed the weird under-porch lighting issue)

Recommended Assets

Several Pdelmo assests (Regular Bush tiny, leafy), a stone garden path by Beardmonkey, and some vanilla assets (mailbox, vents, bench, AC unit) were used to decorate the lot. Lacking these other subscriptions will do no harm.

I should also note that many of my assets share textures, so if you have Loading Screen Mod, you'll see some decent load time savings.

Fun note, if you have FindIt! and search "mid" then every one of my assets will pop up. I try to start all of them with that prefix : )

Let me know of any other issues!

@dudemeister, do you know what it’s called in-game? I’m having a hard time finding it when I go to add it to a district theme. Thanks!

Thank you all! @Gilded, I like the sound of that... let's call it a gentledude's agreement :) Love the Little Italy series btw, they look great. You can see some rooflines in one of this asset's pics - very photogenic!
