So the majority of us know that right now the wiki isn't that great. It's pretty uninformative on most pages, and doesn't go into specifics that often. However, I and others have begun making efforts to make the wiki much better, and it's already working out great. But even better, there is a way that you can help as well! I have created this video tutorial on the basics of making a page on the wiki, which can be found below. This will teach you the basics of the standards of wiki writing, even if you are completely inexperienced and have never done it before. Specifically, you will learn how to do the following:

• Create a Gamepedia account
  
• Create a page
  
• Utilize the infobox item template I have made
  
• Understand how to upload images
  
• Know the basic structure and layout of pages
  
• Other miscellaneous aspects of wiki writing

You won't become an expert by watching the video, but you will likely be capable of contributing to the wiki. Just keep in mind that power comes with responsibility. Even though there's a lot of pages still to be made, do not make a bunch of empty pages with no information. Doing so is not anymore helpful than just not having the page exist in the first place. If anything, it is worse, since it shows that the wiki acknowledges the item's existence but is unable to state anything about the item. That can be seen as extreme incompetence to the wiki writers, which we all know isn't the case. So please, refrain from making a bunch of empty pages.
