Once you've found your way into a NERTS match, there is a secret way to immediately lose. The method is locked behind a small button on the screen. Below is an indicator of where this button is located, but if you cannot find it I wish you best of luck not immediately winning the game.

If you have managed to complete step 1 and have clicked the button, a new menu will have opened.

Do not panic!

Despite the litany of info and stimuli coming from this new menu, it is quite simple to finishing this method of losing a match of NERTS!. At the bottom of this menu is another very important button, and you must click it. Again, if this is too much to handle, I have provided an image to help find the button.



If you manage to get lost and cannot find your way out of the match, I would advise returning to the match and allow yourself to automatically win the match to calm down. After which, you can attempt this method again, and which case please refer to Step 1 again.

You've done it! You managed to lose a game of NERTS!. While this was not a standard method of losing the match, it's a valid loss nonetheless. Experts of the game of NERTS! have come to call your achievement "forfeiting a match." Now you can say you've done the same, and you have this fancy new lingo to brag to your friends with!





If, for some reason, you have no recollection of the proceedings, I suspect you have either not been playing NERTS! the entire time, or -- in a much more grave turn of events -- are still in a match of NERTS!.

• If it is the former, I would advise stepping away from the computer in order to prevent yourself from entering and subsequently winning any future matches of NERTS!.
  
• In the case of the latter, there is nothing that can be done. I hope you have said your goodbyes to your loved ones, and may god have mercy on your soul.
