Dwarf Fortress (+cart!)

My first mod, based somewhat loosely on the old Shattered Spectrum mod area of the same name. Delve down into the depths of the earth and venture through an ill-fated fortress of mystery and death.

If you're looking for a TEIN mod that is fun while also having a semi-reasonable difficulty curve, then you'd probably like this!



FEATURES


- A 23-level main area, Dwarf Fortress and its surrounding locales, accessed from Golgotha 21 with about the same difficulty as the base game's glitch cartridges

- A brand-new cart found at the end of the Fortress (it replaces Mortaman and DOES use lives, play it for a challenge!)

- Gameplay that is mostly focused on raw platforming and mechanics featured in the main game, so there's no crazy mod strategies needed to beat it (it might get a little tricky near the end though, fair warning)

- A 16-level bonus super secret area found within the aforementioned Fortress, featuring increased difficulty

- Lots of secrets to find and plenty of funny(?) NPCs to talk to

- Visuals that heavily utilize ambient lighting and my questionably competent design "skills" to provide the optimal spooky-underground-castle experience

- (Kinda) New music! By which I mean slightly remixed versions of As Above and Wall of Sorrow, modified to be slower and even more somber than they already are for that authentic spook factor.

- 99% Retinara Free!
