Hi there,

tldr: Do it on disc two and drop the bad guys out of the windows (don't push them!). That's it.

Preface:
so I was trying the Pacifist achievement the other day and have read in some discussion threads, that the first level might be the best to do it. Only the last level might be a bit harder...but...like what the phuck. Even the few levels before the last one were a pain in the butt. And the last level was seriously too much, as I'm just an average player (the arcade levels on hard are just too much for me).

Anyhow, so I tried this on the second level and found out, that dropping the enemies from the windows will not reset the progress for the pacifist achievement. This makes it so much easier. Most of the levels on disc I managed first try. Keep in mind:
-No elevators with endless enemies
-the heavy machine gun guys can clear a lot of enemies
-the staircases can be used as excellent spots to lure enemies and then grab them and use them as a shield etc. or "escort" them to a window
-you can use the shot of your enemies to open the windows
-the sniper in some of the levels can be used to get rid of enemies, which is even faster than bringing them to the edge of the windows
-use the thrown bombs to kill enemies (doesn't reset the progress for the achievement)

Even the lobby (last level on disc 2) is so much easier than the elevator bingo on disc one.

I found it really easy to do this on Disc 3. The achievement description is incorrect as you can kill the enemies just not throw them. Since it's a big open area you can run past most and hold the enemies as human shields. You can also hold the bodies over the fire and let go to burn them without taking any damage (The achievement allows this).

There's a picture of a monkey holding a banana in the corner when you pause that lets you know the achievement is still active.

update: i don't know if it was the same way you did it, but i managed to push the guy away just enough to break it and run away

no matter where i stand in the cage, it's impossible for me to break the glass without sending the guy flying, how did you get around this?

I can't quite remember. But can't you hit the glass without killing the guy? or can you grab him through the glass?

As described in the guide above, I did the achievement on the second level. Not the first one.

how do you get past the glass on the first level without killing the guy? that instantly resets the pacifist thing for me

So the thing is you should run and grab heavy gunners, especially on lower levels just to clear the area. That's it. Same with the lobby. Just rush forward and drop "empty" men behind the pillars. And check top right icon with banana before green doors. ~30min on disc 2 :beatmeat:
