the Jaguar is mainly a bomber, but can stand against other strike craft. The most notable thing about the jaguar is its decoy printer racks, allowing it to print clouds of decoys to get behind, allowing it to chew holes through capital ships without taking a scratch to itself, however if not piloted properly, or you make a slightly mistake it can cost you, but if you know how to pilot it, it can be devastating to the enemy. It is survival ready, provided you fill its cargo with the proper materials before each run.
