The story behind the artwork was actually that the Pyro raided another camp.

"Diary number 1: I should have wrote this sooner. About 2 weeks ago, I was driving with my pals..then suddenly a giant object hit the car, causing it to crash. I don't remember what happened then...but i found myself in some strange desert, nothing was around me, only sand. I knew I had to explore. I found items and adapted. I killed those stupid bugs roaming around. But then i found the best thing...a road. I done the most logical thing..destroy anything that pasts the road. This is my home now. I am The RoadSide Ravager."
