Who doesn't like a cozy warm Fireplace?

Give your Warden an impressive big Fireplace, put a cozy smaller version in the Staff Room, and place an Outdoor Stove at the Yard for your prisoners or at an outdoor Kennel for your Dog Handlers.

Once some Log is available, it will be brought to the Fireplace/Stove. The little chimney will start to smoke while a cozy fire is burning. A wiggling light creating a shimmer emits the area.


NEW OBJECTS
- Fireplace (Grey)
- Fireplace (Brown)
- Outdoor Stove
- Outdoor Stove Room, spawns Stove with foundation


BUTTONS
Fireplace & Stove:
  • Remove Fireplace, to quickly get rid of everything
  • Light Fire On/Off, to toggle a wiggling light creating a shimmer effect
  • Light White/Red, Red is only available if you have the DLC
Outdoor Stove:
  • Stone/Iron, toggles Fence w/ Stone or Brick w/ Iron floor
  • Indoor/Outdoor, toggles its foundation. Indoor radiates heat.


SETTLES NEEDS
  • PRISONER: Comfort, Family, Freedom, Spirituality, Warmth
  • STAFF: Comfort, Recreation, Warmth


WEATHER MAP
Supports maps with Weather and Temperature. If you want Snipers to warm up, please be sure the little foundation of the Outdoor Stove is marked as a room where staff can settle needs, i.e. StaffRoom, Kennel. For prisoners it should be part of the Yard room zoning.


COMPATIBILITY
This mod is compatible with The Rock and Anniversary 2018 edition.

+1 to driver's complaint. there's a bug where the supposed logs for the outdoor stove are not unloaded from the delivery truck, which in turn the logs ended up getting exported, and since the stove didn't get the logs, they requested it again, restarting the cycle.

and since logs don't have buy/import price (I think?), the prison ended up with practically infinite money cheat.

how do I stop the staff from taking a break in the wardens office by the fireplace. I gavve them their own in their staffroom

the logs keep getting sold for exports

Hey murgh!
I really like your mods but i cant/dont want to run all of them. I still get the research thingies from for example manufactury, even when i dont have it installed.Is there away to fix that? Thanks in advance

No, once the smoke gets removed by the game, the fireplace deletes its fire and issues a new job. Once a new piece of Log has been brought, the process starts over.

btw if you sell the fire or the burning log, then the stove will remove the smoke and issue a new job too.

Nice. I have a question, though: how long will the fireplace/stove burn? Surely it won't be literally forever?
