Welcome to Alabama, the Yellowhammer State! Play as the Heart of Dixie.

Leader: Martin Luther King, Jr., Civil Rights Icon

UA: "New South"; Upon researching Industrialization, receive a free Social Policy upon entering the remaining Eras and enjoy a 40% discount on remaining Social Policies.

UB: Church; Replaces the Colosseum and provides +3 Happiness as well as +2 each Faith, Gold, and Culture.

UU: Tuskegee Airman; Replaces the Bomber with increased attack and range.

From Alabama, love this mod, but being historically accurate the state capitol in Montgomery would've been burned to the ground before this is possible sadly...

I think the "new south" ability is an interesting concept, but the fact that you have no civ ability until you get industrialization makes it extremely weak, in my opinion. Industrialization comes pretty late. This is made even worse with the fact bombers come even later. I realize the theme you're trying to do, and that's definitely cool, but from a purely gameplay POV, it's pretty off-putting.

If I may ask, who do you have in-mind for California? Because, if MLK Jr. can be Alabama's leader, then I sincerely do hope Emperor Norton can be California's!
