Class description
Submarines (SSN) are nuclear powered vessels designed for anti-ship and anti-sub operations. The class varies from small drones to large vessels. Being relatively underpowered for their cost, they rely on their immunity against most weapon systems for survival.

The ship
The Orka class SSN Attack sub is the smallest available manned submarine. Powered by nuclear cores, it is a relatively cheap entry into the submarine line. It's main offensive weapons are nose mounted torpedoes with 4km range, allowing the sub to stay at a distance while maintaining fire on the target. Defences are present in the form of sonar decoys and interceptor torpedoes, which should be sufficient against small torpedo attacks. Other than that, depth and movement allow for high survivability, but otherwise this ship is vulnerable: The armour is very thin, and with a submerged top speed of 14 m/s she's on the slow side. Being a small attack sub, she doesn't carry missiles either, so choose your foes wisely. If doing so, she will reward you by being able to take down targets much, much larger than the sub itself.

Controls:
The AI will be able to control this vessel, more dynamic operations are possible with human control. First, turn off the AI movement.

T+G provide main power. 50% power gives a stable power consumption, anything above it slowly drains the batteries.

O+L provide depth control. 100% gives a positive bouyancy resulting in the vessel surfacing. -100% provides a slight negative bouyancy. Around 0% gives a near 0 m/s vertical speed when under power.
