LOL ah gotcha... a boar scared me inside my village too, just stood behind me when I turned around. Thought it was one of my pigs first but nope lol. And deers keep running through but that's fine lol. I really dont think we can stop them since we still don't have a gate for the fences. Hoping they add that :)
I was trying to not letting Boar/Deer coming into my town, I had once a Board inside my House when I wake up and attack me, that's why. But it's not working, I need a way still to be open until dev introduce gate. If I close it my Hunter can't go there straight away, they either stuck in the town or going a long way around all my fences. So I just leave the extra small fence there. As long as they don't bother me at all. The wooden fence I mean. :)
