How to use any controller (with x360ce)

This is meant to help those of you who are used to run generic controllers on x360ce, but right now are unable to do so. Credits go to m∑ntØr for realizing the solution in time.

Steps:

1. Go to this website: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/
2. Download the following file: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/detail?name=x360ce.App-2.1.2.191.zip
3. Download a proper x64 library for x360ce: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/detail?name=x360ce_lib64_r848_VS2010.zip&can=2&q=

Now, with the 2 packages downloaded, it's time for a little browsing:

4. Browse trough your windows folders and open your Strider installation folder. It's usually something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Strider
5a. As you open it, you will realize you have StriderX64_r
5b. The reason why the controller emulator wasn't working until now, is due to the fact that by default, x360ce is set to run under x86 games. This way, we have to "teach" the application to run under a 64-bit environment.

6. Extract the two .zip files to this folder, and 'voilà'! It works!

7. Double click x360ce.exe to ensure the automatic key configuration is properly set.

Não, fique sossegado!
Hoje em dia todos nós usamos software para Joysticks.
Jogos com sistema VAC que não devem ter processos enderaçados ao .exe, somente isto.

O facto de eu usar este programa pode de alguma forma dar ban na steam?
pergunto isto porque supostamente estamos a adicionar ficheiros a pasta steam

Same as sNeakyQQ said, you can just download the x64 version of x360e. For the vast majority of games the 32 bit version will work...this one just use the x64 version and you're set. No need to look for libraries and whatever. I have both versions in a folder on my drive just in case. Comes in handy.

You can simply download x360ce for x64 version and play. Thx for link, it helped me.
