  • First, open your GPU control panel (mine is Nvidia) by right click at desktop or driver at taskbar



  • Then, go to "Manage 3D settings" on "Program Settings" tab
  • Select a program or add if not in the list




  • Scroll down until you see "Vertical sync" and select OFF then APPLY.


AND YOU'RE DONE, weird mouse delay are gone and fps uncapped. Same goes to other drivers (AMD or Intel)

Anyone else on AMD having this game show up as Duke Nukem Forever in Adrenalin? Weirdest issue. I seriously wish Bethesda had ownership of Duke, all the Doom re-releases are damn near flawless.

Changing it to Fast instead of Off has the same benefits but without screen tearing.

vsync off and fps capped to 5 fps below your refresh rate is the way to go here to avoid tearing in case you don't have a gsync capable display. in that case, enable gsync & vsync and you're golden. or... just use eduke32

Works, but overheats the GPU. damson (Feb 28, 2021 @ 7:28am) has the right idea. Another option that might work well, but cause less stress on the GPU is Fast Vsync, which supposedly has minimal input lag. Might be a good compromise.

Having a thousand fps makes my system squeal in a very high pitched noise without break, so I think limit frames to either 60, or 120 may be a good idea

As well, potentially turn on triple buffering.

This is not working for me, fps uncapped. But the mouse movement same weird, game don't recognize small movements.
