Jargon LCD

描述
This script was made mostly for my own use, it displays random inaccurate data upon an LCD panel so as to simulate that important stuff is happening in your ship. It has about 40 different lines that can be displayed, ranging from descriptions on faults found in your ship, to false energy levels. The script creates a new line around about every 3-4 seconds.

How to use:
1. Create an LCD panel and call it "Jargon LCD"
2. Switch the LCD to "text and images"
3. Copy this script to a Programmable Block and save it.
4. If the text goes out of the LCD or doesn't reach the bottom, try changing the value of LINE_AMOUNT.

Well, to be fair. As part of my work on this I accidentally made a script that took over every single LCD screen on the grid. I wouldn't call myself good at SE scripting, I just know enough to throw things at the wall and see how they stick. There's a good amount of information here [github.com], which I use... a lot.

I was going to make it function with the displays on cockpits, etc; but unfortunately that was a little beyond me at the time. I'm pleased to see that you were able to put it to good use. :selike:

I love this!

It didn't *quite* do what I wanted, so I re-wrote it ( Which you can see here ), adding a bunch of neat things.

Still, though, this was *exactly* the style of thing I was looking for and it was fantastic to find it.

@clive, the name of the lcd is case sensitive, have you double checked that it is "Jargon LCD" with "LCD" in all capitals?

I did what the description says, but the programmable block is giving the error: No Jargon Panel Found.
