- I'm playing Elite: Dangerous Horizons. Maybe you don't have the Horizons update and the .binds file isn't compatible.
- I experienced this once before: I've had an Xbox controller active and Elite didn't recognize my Flightstick. At that point my .binds file didn't show up in options > controls > presets. Do you have another controller active on your pc? Check this: Windows key > typ "Set up USB Game controllers". Make sure only The T. Flightstick X is in the list.
I eventually got it working by using a reddit suggestion and editing a custom binding in game, then while the game is still open, swapping out that custom binds file with the one I downloaded.
Thanks tho.
