For example in almost all FPS games space will have your character jump, left-click will almost always perform some form of primary action, etc, etc. To be honest with you, 99% of the time I NEVER check key bindings, they are almost always the same and as a PC gamer (or rather a avid gamer of many years) you will know what to expect and how to react, and if not a tutorial is there for that. I've only found myself to look up key bindings for very complex and otherwise older games that don't have any form of tutorial (AKA Mount & Blade: Warband). You cannot compare a console (which derives its components from a PC) directly to a PC. I hope this clears it up, and once again I understand maybe for you it comes easy, but for most as is the case and why this guide serves, it doesn't and I have high hopes this will help with that.

Hey Justus, if you wish to discuss this matter further, please feel free to add me. :) But to sum it up, being a PC gamer from as little as 6 years old and never having owned a console at all, I can tell you with 100% accuracy that mashing odd buttons (such as F) to achieve forms of attack other than interaction with objects in a game world is NOT PC orientated. An occasional press to form an action (such as V for the standard knife in CoD games) or space to jump around in most games is common grounds, not to mention that almost 99% of all PC games use the same key bindings for general action. It's just what is known to us PC gamers, why change something that works in favour of being "unique" or "different"? There are many games for that, whole genres dedicated to it... :)

Deadmano, The missiles, dubstep gun, shark-launcher, tentacle bat ect, Come much later in the game. Also, your F key is used for standing attacks, left click is used for primary fire. Now, with alot of people, they just jump right into the game, but as far as everyone I know, we look at control scheme's before we just jump right in. Hell, even going from an xbox to the PC 5 year's ago, I still don't expect controls to be the same as another game. Though most controls are practically the same, If one had played Saints 3, then they would know that the F key is used for certain attacks, along with the Left click.
