The Blood Spud will bury itself using its 12 tentacles, leaving only its anemone like head exposed and using its light to lure in fish, said fish are grabbed by the tentacles of its head and taken into its mouth where its light is emitted from.

When food is scarce, the Blood Spud will emerge and look for a new hunting ground."
