HAHA spot-on. Some of the zombie types in this game get PISSED
Front side of my property is a pattern of : cutter - guillotine - compressor+floorspikes - guillotine
Around the corner after about 12 foundations worth of the above, I placed a mangler, some other traps and at the end a ballista with improved rounds.
Nothing got inside thus far, but I just lost my first trap during horde night. The cutter at the door.
Night 14 on Hard sure is another league than normal mode used to be last year even after day 20
I'm not sure how people play on highest difficulty to day 50+ without using very tricky setups and constant repairing during the waves.
Next is, that they are relatively fast too :)
Playing the game again on hard diff.
I notice the exploding ghouls just run past all my traps and then stand next to me inside my base.
What trap would slow them down?
Depending on Difficulty, you could actually survive the 2nd night even with just a Knife. But why would you do that do? 2nd Night on Normal and below difficulty has very few zombies, and weak ones too. But 2nd night on Legend with just your knife is a challenge on it's own already :)
