Saught's Winter Assets/Models/Objects/Props

There's some alright snow related assets around on the workshop but I wanted more. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is coming out shortly and I figure since I was gathering assets for my own campaign I might as well make them public. Unlike my other workshop mods, I'll probably be adding onto this as time goes by and I find/make more relevant stuff.

This one's a little different, with only 126 models in here (for now). I've only adjusted colliders for certain objects so they would stand up properly. Everything's been adapted for TTS myself.

I normally use AssetBundles but I wanted various models I could easily change the texture for, so most of these are basic model uploads. I've also included 20 textures (and 19 normal maps) to use, but honestly I don't think most of them are very good. I'm sure people can find uses for them though. Additionally, many of these models can be repurposed for various dirt/grass/hills/rocks or whatever. I've noticed a lot of people use a limited amount of "hill" models in their builds, so I hope these can be useful.

If there are any errors, let me know.

Inside you can find:
  • Dirt, Ice, & Snow Piles.
  • Icebergs, Ice Floes, & Icicles.
  • Glaciers.
  • Snowy trees & shrubs.
  • Some terrain/battle maps. (Grid projection should work)
  • 20 texture cubes.
  • 48 winter-themed Paintings/Pictures. (They're in a crate bag)

Additionally, I've added 3 soundcubes & a snow particle effect cube:
  • 8 various wind ambiences from WoW.
  • 11 wintery background tracks also from WoW.
  • 10 other wind ambiences for different situations or settings.
  • 2 river streams, some rain, and a campfire track.
  • 3 different speeds of snow particles.

Anyway, I'm sure you guys can find uses for this stuff in various types games, not just winter/snow themed stuff.

Update! We managed to fix it. Apparently my friend had activated something called "Threaded mods", which for some reason made these props in particular not load. For now everything seems to be working!

Also, there was this one model that he could kind of... load? But not properly. The texture was all glitched out. I don't know how to upload an image here, but I have a screenshot of it

Hello! It's everything on the table regarding this specific upload. It's like the props are completely invisible, but he can click them and move them regardless. It doesn't happen with props from other of your uploads, weirdly enough.
I'm gonna see if those solutions work, thank you very much! I also googled a few other things that might work, even those that didn't work in the past, just in case lol. I'll tell you if anything works!!
Apart from that thank you for your answer :steamhappy: I know I said this already but golly your work is awesome, you're my go to for campaign props!!

@Vydalia I still read every comment! All the upload links still seem fine on my end. Is it everything on the table that isn't loading for him or just specific models? Are textures fine? My first guess is that there's an issue with their mod caching. You mentioned they tried 'reinstalling the props' but possibly you can try to turn off caching or changing the folder. You can also attempt to send them your own cached files (this works for anything with broken links).
Menu > Configuration > Mod Caching/Mod Save Location
Not sure what else it would be tbh. You can also try copy/pasting the model information to a new custom asset as well and see if that fixes anything.

Hi! First of all, love all the work you put into your Workshop uploads, you're the blessing of my campaigns lol. I know very well it's been five years since you uploaded this, but here taking my chances you still look at comments - I've been using this on my campaign, and one of my players has been having consistent problems loading these props in particular. They can see props of other workshop uploades you've made - Its just the Winter one that for some reason they can't load. He has tried reinstalling the props, reinstalling tabletop, and still we couldn't figure out a solution :{
It may be a problem specifically with them and not with the props themselves, but we haven't found a way to fix it. Thank you in advance! :steamhappy:

@Kili The trees have been there! I didn't realize the soundcube wasn't working properly so I fixed it is all. It isn't very visible but I always write update notes if I change anything about the table. If you ever see an update you can check the Change Log tab at the top. :brownchicken:

If you can bisect the model to remove all of the roof, that would ideal. If the building doesn't have an interior (floor, walls, etc) then I wouldn't want to use it in this instance. Obviously, if the roof or building is complicated then its not worth trying to do. Thank you for reply, though.
