Time Travel

描述
Proof of concept for two-way time travel in VR with Source 2. Find and press the red button to cause cascading temporal distortions and hop between two points in the fourth dimension. The room also has plenty of other interactables and secrets for you to uncover, in both the past and future. Originally created for Map Labs: One Room, but I missed the deadline. I'll definitely be using this mechanic in a future map as it has lots of potential.

Inspired by Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall 2. The owner of this addon is not responsible for universe-ending paradoxes or other temporal anomalies created through the abuse of this mod.

May be unoptimized on mid to lower-end cards due to the map having no vis culling, and the abundance of prop_dynamic foliage in the "ruined" time period doesn't help. I had issues with vis and ultimately removed it because I suck at making maps and it ran fine on my RTX 2080, lol...

it says proof of concept in the description. if you came in expecting more that's not on the map creator.

It's sort of a tech-demo. Very well done, but I didn't care for it because it's just a puzzle piece and I'm looking for the whole experience from 4-5 star mods. So, :steamthumbsdown:

Great map but I feel like there needs to be a little more to it. Like being able to go into another room or into the outside area. Other then that it is absolutely perfect!
