Starstorm


Starstorm's basics:
  • Does not hit invisible units / units in the fog of war / magic immune units. Not blocked by Linken Sphere
  • Targets are selected at the beginning of the spell, damage is dealt when the meteor connects
  • Total damage if hit by 2nd meteor: 131 / 262 / 394 / 525 magic damage
  • If the 2nd meteor target dies before it hits, a new unit within 175 range of Mirana will be selected to be the target

Main meteor wave mechanics:
  • Once targeted, units can't dodge the meteor. Running into the fog of war or going invisible before the meteor hits does not prevent the damage, only going magic immune in that timing window does.
  • Targets are only selected when casting the spell, meaning if you cast Starstorm and leap immediately, you will hit enemies at your original location but won't hit the enemies at your destination.

Second meteor mechanics:
  • Target is selected at the beginning of the spell just like the main meteor wave.
  • Selection is random, no priority based on proximity or unit type.
  • Only target non magic-immune units. If Mirana is next to three heroes and two are magic-immune, the third one will always be the target of the second meteor. You can't "waste" it.
  • Acts just like the main meteor wave, you can't dodge it once you're targeted - even if you go invisible before the 2nd meteor appears, you will still get hit.
  • If the original target died before the 2nd meteor hits, a new unit will be selected immediately - which means if you're invisible at that moment, you won't be targeted. This new target takes damage immediately, before the animation of the "new" 2nd meteor.

Example: You and three creeps are next to Mirana. She casts Starstorm and all creeps die, you go invisible before the first meteor hits:
- Situation A: You were the original target of the second meteor. You take damage from the first and second meteor while invisible.
- Situation B: You were not the original target (a creep was). You take damage from the first meteor, but since you're invisible when the new selection is decided you are not a valid target. No second meteor falls.
Sacred Arrow


Sacred Arrow's basics:
  • Max range of 3000, one of the longest skill-shot (as long as Clockwerk max level Hookshot).
  • Travels in a straight line until the first enemy unit it hits.
  • Hits invisible units, ignores Linken Sphere. Simply disappears with no effect if a magic immune unit is hit.

Stun duration / Damage scaling:
  • Initial stun duration / Damage: 0.5 sec & 90/180/270/360 magic damage
  • +0.5 sec / + 10 damage per 150 range
  • Maximum of 5 sec stun / +100 damage at 1500 range (half the max distance).
  • The damage / stun is calculated from the position where Mirana shot the arrow. Moving after shooting does not increase/decrease those values (unlike Enchantress Impetus).

Sacred Arrow stats:
  • Arrow has flying vision of ~500 range day/night. Good to scout / find people hiding in trees
  • Arrow movement speed: 857
  • Can block neutral spawn



Trivia:
Right now there is a graphic bug with point-blank arrows. The arrow will hit the target, but a "Phantom Arrow" will keep traveling as if it didn't hit anything. This "Phantom Arrow" does not grant vision or hit any additional target, and just flies through everything until it reaches max range.
Leap


Leap's basics:
  • Jump forward, similar to Force Staff.
  • Unlike Force Staff, Leap disjoints projectile. Remember some projectiles can't be disjointed (Lich's Ultimate, Alchemist's Unstable Concoction...)
  • At max level, gives +16% MS / +32 attack speed for 10 sec to all allied units in a 775 AoE before leaping - including illusions, summoned units (Nature Prophet's Treants, Lone Druid's Bear...) and even creeps. Insanely powerful buff in teamfights.

Escape mechanics:
  • Only disjoint at the beginning of Leap. Any spells targeting her while she's leaping will still connect.
  • Mirana is not invulnerable while in mid-air. She can be damaged / hooked / pulled / whatever while leaping.
  • Ignores terrain and most spells (such as Disruptor's Kinetic Field), but can't escape Slark's Pounce or cross Void's Chronosphere.
  • Unlike Blink, you can still leap under Entangle / Ensnare status, which are caused by the following spells: Treant's Overgrowth, Crystal Maiden's Frosbite, Ember Spirit's Searing Chains, Spirit Bear's Entangling Claws (more commonly known as "Root"), Meepo's Earthbind, Naga Siren's Ensnare, Dark Troll Summoner's (Neutral Creep) Ensnare, Abyssal Underlord's (Pit Lord, not yet released) Pit of Malice
  • Can't use spell while leaping, but can use items.

Difference with DotA Allstars:
  • Disjoint mechanic not based on a 0.01 sec Windwalk anymore. True Sight does not prevent Leap from disjointing projectiles anymore.
  • Mirana can turn while leaping - you will still leap in a straight line, but Mirana can face another direction when landing.
  • The "Instant back-arrow" glitch does not work anymore. However, you can do a "faster back-arrow" glitch instead.


How to fast back-arrow?
Just shoot right in front of you as you are leaping.

Moonlight Shadow


Moonlight Shadow's basics:
  • Please use this spell. I see so many Miranas only using it to escape. Use it to gank and to teamfight as well please.
  • Targets all allied heroes on the map, even if they are magic immune. No, Spirit Bear, Familiars, Forged Spirits, Chen's creeps or even Brewmaster's Brewlings are not affected.
  • Lasts for 15 sec. Attacking, using an item or casting a spell breaks invisibility. As long as you are under Moonlight Shadow, you will go invisible again after the fade time even if you break invisibility (works similar to Riki's Permanent Invisibility)
  • Can't be purged, will not be canceled if Mirana dies.

Moonlight Shadow & Silence:
  • Silence prevents heroes from going invisible, but will not reveal them. This is a bug in Dota 2, as silence should reveal units under Moonlight Shadow.
  • Fade time still ticks while silenced, which means if you're not doing any hostile action you will go invisible as soon as the silence ends (and not after silence + fade time). AFAIK that is a bug as well.
  • Remember that some other status silence as well, like Hex or Doom. These will prevent you from going invisible again just like silence does.

The simple answer is: Visual confirmation. Everyone can write stuff down, but that doesn't mean it's accurate - I want to give visual proof of everything I say. This also allows me to bring various bugs to light while making the video.
