when you make a new world you will spawn in the forest its a biome that is mostly peaceful but thair are dangers
like the slime it is an enemy that will bounce twords the player until u die
the best way to kill it is to hit it with a copper short sword
it will drop gel that can be used to make torches
use your axe to cut down trees to make armor and weapons like a sword and a bow.
then make a house you can do that is to make a work bench
you can do this with wood by pressing esc to open your inventory and then go to the crafting section.
and make walls then make your outline it can be as big as you want but make sure you have the resources to do it
then once you have done that you can build a mine do it out side your house preferably in a cave but make sure that you are prepared for traps the most common one is the dart trap it will shoot a dart that will do a good deal of damage even some expierienced players will sometimes die to these traps though most of them wont admit it. now that you have stone and ore go to you base and make a furnace then make some bars of ore. by this time if you are not an expierenced player it should be night. now this is a dangerous task for a new player. thair will most likely be zombies. they,re will not be slimes. thair will be flying eyeballs called demon eyes they will do a lot of damage. it is best to block off the doors and 3 block tall holes
