Not sure if this has been done yet, don't see why it wouldn't have been done if not. But here it is.

The Longer Creature View Distance mod!

Increases the distance in which you can see NPCs.

Alright bye and have fun Kenshi people. Mwah, mwah.

- I mean, what changes with this mod in terms of that.

Hello :) do you know with which setting for npc draw distance in the game harmonizes? I have read elsewhere that for npcs ( and objects) any value higher than 5000 does nothing, yet I am not sure if this is trustworthy. So much for a baseline of understanding. :)

Great job with this, thank you!

That is correct. I see now. What a goofy-ingenious method. I guess there is really no way to just modify the npc view distance beyond the current maximum.
All the more annoying that the ingame config UI includes custom value inputs but hard limits you to 8,000 for that setting anyways.

Thanks.

I think I just added the huge tag to everything with this, but I cannot remember.

Great idea. I was wondering how you go about editing this setting. I for the life of me cannot figure out where to find it in the mod editor. Was curious just how far this could be pushed before serious issues arise.

This is definitely noticeable in Shem where it's relatively flat and you can see beak things really far away.

I guess it at least adds to the rendering.

Amazing! Adds so much to the game. Its a must have!

If there is a difference I haven't really noticed.
