Atmospheric Mining Craft

This is my design for a simple atmospheric mining craft. It has a respectable cargo size, and is equipped with three drills. With this ship's design, it is possible to bore with the right-click (non-harvesting) drill mode, but not with the ore-harvesting mode. The ship has been tested to be capable of standing up on end and reversing with a full load (tested with Ice).

The ship has an O2/H2 generator for use in non-oxygen environments, as well as an ore detector and antenna for ore location and broadcast. The craft uses a connector mounted to the underside of the ship to connect to a base; it is lined up so that if landing on a pad, with a connector flush with the pad, it can land with the gears to ensure stability. The underside also has two interior lights, to assist with visibility in darkness or inclement conditions.

The ship uses batteries; 8 in total, which should provide enough power for brief excursions and mining missions. It has three cameras; one mounted in front with the drills for more accurate mining, one on the back end for reversing, and another on the underside to aid docking with the connector.

The Sparks of the Future DLC is required only due to the use of the sci-fi thrusters; the ship should construct and be serviceable with standard atmospheric thrusters.
