-Finish the game on Novice difficulty-
very simple. just beat the game on easy mode. When killing a boss or mini boss, they will drop a heart. in this mode, it will fully recover your health. same can be said about the Alter Break(recovers health).

-Finish the game on Standard difficulty-
beat the game on normal mode. In this mode, when killing a mini boss or normal boss, it will drop a heart. which will recover 1 heart/health. you can also recover health by doing a Alter Break.

-Finish the game on Advanced difficulty-
beat the game on hard mode. if its too hard, use Elixeril, who does the most damage with her beam attack or team up with a friend. In this mode, when killing a mini boos or normal boss, you won't get a heart to recover health but a mana orb. which recovers your mana bar to full. the only way to recover health is by doing a Alter Break.

-Finish the game on Demonic difficulty-
beat the game on insane/hardest mode. In this mode, Phase Level is Always 21. so getting hit won't lower it. Also, killing a mini boss or normal boss won't drop a heart/health. the only way to recover a heart is by getting Alter Break but it only recovers one heart. Finally, there's no continues in this mode but you can retry again on the title screen and continue where you left off(you can still get the achievement, if you do this. this also works for the other difficulty modes as well)

-Finish the game without continuing-
You can get this achievement very easily by doing easy mode. After getting this achievement, you will unlock Nagi(she is needed for the "The Spice of Life" achievement). the third playable character.

-Finish the game with every character-
In order to get this achievement, you must unlock Nagi(see Far East Temple Knight section).
After getting Nagi, just beat the game as her, Eryth and Elixirel. Easy mode is the beat mode to do this on. Since Nagi is the hardest to learn.

-Defeat the true last boss-

The "true last boss" is XXX Lotus Blacker. There's three requirements in order to spawn her - at the time when ML Lotus Noir de Gicleur (the final form of the "normal last boss") is defeated, you must:

1. Must not have continued(you won't get the Far East Temple Knight achievement, if you didn't get that one first)
2. Your Phase Level must be at least 11(easy mode won't work, since phase level starts at 1 and is fix at lower level. best mode is normal mode or hard mode but normal is the best pick)
3. Your Alter Breaks + Phase Level must be at least 21

If your Phase Level is 21 or more at this time, XXX Lotus Blacker will spawn no matter what, regardless of Alter Breaks.
In this fight, bombs won't work on her anymore and will just recover her health bar. slow down won't effect the bullets anymore as well.

-Defeat every opponent in Demonic Challenge mode-
Complete the game once on any difficulty setting to unlock it. In this special mode, you can fight the bosses/mini bosses from the story mode again but there a catch. you only have one heart and the difficulty is the same difficulty as Demonic, hints the name of this mode.

if you notice, there might be "???" on the list of bosses. this means their still lock. in order to unlock them, you must:
1. encounter the boss. some bosses you only face when you do a Alter Break in a level. this will increase the timer and allowing you to face them but don't waste on a level or you won't have enough time to fight them or reach them.
2. you must do a Alter Break during the boss fight.
3. you must kill them and not by time up *note: not 100% sure on this step.

you can do "practice" mode and select the level you wish to do, than going through story mode in order to face them.
Also, you might notice that on level/area 4 have different bosses. Thats because the characters weapons(nagi)/bombs(Eryth) will spawn different bosses. here is the list:

-Clear 25 lines in Eternal Babel mode-
Endless Babel" is one of two unlockable Mission Modes and i believe is unlocked by beating Babelforge *note: i might be wrong.

"Endless Babel" pits you against Babelforge, one of the bosses from Area 3, in puzzle game that is a bit difficult to describe. You will be on a grid of 40 colored blocks, the dimensions of which are 8 horizontal and 5 vertical. Shooting blocks on the left half of the screen will make them shift horizontally right towards the center; conversely, shooting blocks on the right half of the screen will make them shift horizontally left towards the center. Your goal is to create columns of a single color (Blue, Red, Yellow, or Gray) at which point the 5 blocks in the column will disappear and you'll earn a "line." Clear 25 lines for this trophy.

However, it's a bit more complicated than that - Gray blocks are "metallic" and cannot be destroyed w/ a character's shots, but can be shifted around by destroying the Blue, Red, or Yellow blocks that are in the same row. Clearing lines of Gray blocks kicks up the difficulty level and after a while, the Gray blocks will fire and fill the screen w/ bullets which will need to be avoided. As a result, try to avoid clearing Gray columns unless there are no other options available.

For me, it was easier to line up the gray cubes than the color ones. best character to use here is anyone.

-Get 6 Alter Breaks in one game-
An "Alter Break" is a time extension for an area that is awarded if you collect X number of large Green Squares Gems. easy to do in easy mode.

-Finish the game in Duet Play with both players alive-
The only co-op/mp achievement in the game and its a hard one to get.
Its easy to get if the host picks easy mode(because easy mode has more continues) but the real reason it's hard, is because 2 things.
1. lag. depends who's hosting and how far away they live.
2. not a lot of people play online. so try to get a friend or leave a post on the group forums for help(or ask me)

-Keep the holiday spirit alive-
Set your computer clock to Christmas and start the game in practice mode and pick level level/area 3 on easy and the first boss you fight will be noel blanc and you will notice her outfit color is now different. just like in Gundemonium Recollection, you must not kill her. just let the fight end on time up and you will get the achievement.
