A GP9 B Unit designed to be run with the GP9 A Unit and its short hood variant (links farther down in the description). This is a fictional version as to my knowledge, the Southern Pacific Railroad never operated any GP9B's.

This locomotive is built for 7u tracks and is fitted with DumbThings style couplers with a coupler height of 2 blocks above the rails.

How to operate:
The control panel (second image) contains the controls for the locomotive. The panel is on the left side of the locomotive and can be accessed by pressing a switch adjacent to the control panel door. The controls are as follows:

1. The two buttons change the frequency the locomotive communicates on, with the number indicating which frequency the locomotive is set to, with the default frequency being 1. To be able to be controlled by an A Unit, this locomotive must be set to the same frequency as said A unit.

2. This switch is the reverser. Pressing the switch changes the direction the locomotive will run in if a "forward" input is received from the A unit, with the arrow displaying which direction that is.

3. This switch powers the unit on, with a green light to indicate that the locomotive is active, where it is ready to receive control inputs from an A unit. The exterior lights on the front and back of the locomotive will also turn on when it is active.

The locomotive will be active if it is both powered on AND at least one of the two couplers are coupled to another piece of rolling stock, whether it be another locomotive or a rail car.

Once the locomotive is active and set to the same frequency as an A unit, it will mimic the control inputs you give to the A Unit.

NOTE: An "A Unit" is a locomotive that has a control cab. A "B Unit" is a locomotive that does not have a control cab, and thus needs to be controlled by another locomotive.
