Sanctum + Expansion Project (now with Co-op Rules)

描述
A custom expansion for Sanctum, a diablo style tabletop game. The intention is to add variety into the gameplay while keeping with the spirit of the game. There is no achievement system, but another way to gain blessings. Included dual and multi class variant rules. Mod continues updates with new content, suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Added to game:
-Elite monsters
-Elite Fury Cards
-New potions
-New weapons and armor
-New heroes: The Fighter (Must be Teal player) and Paladin (Must be Orange player)
-Coop Rules and skills.
-Solo rules in PDF
- 2-6 player coop support with simultaneous turns

Expansion Rules:

-Purple potion (rejuvenation potion)- When at Rest, combine 1 stamina and 1 focus potion and 1 blessing to craft this potion. Use to recover 1 stamina and 1 focus. Can only carry one per character.

-Yellow potion - Discard 2 items to buy this potion. On use, add 1 yellow temporary dice for the fight. Can only carry one per character.

-Life potion: When at Rest, combine 1 rejuvenation potion, 1 stamina and 1 focus potion to craft this potion. On use restore 1 life. Can be used while at Rest. Your life can go above 10.

Elite random monsters:

-Monsters you will encounter that are a little more difficult to defeat than normal demons. Each with an ability. When defeated you do not gain an item. Instead you gain wild exp, as indicated on the gems. You gain a blessing: 1 for a level 1 monster and 2 for a level 2 monster.

Set up Elite monsters depending on number of players :
-2 players: On acts I and III place (2) elite monster markers horizontally on the spot before the treasure chest. Act I will be level 1 elite marker and and III will be level 2 elite marker.
-3 and 4 players: On acts II and IV place elite monster markers (3 or 4 depending on number of players) horizontally on the spot before the treasure chest. Act II will be level 1 elite marker and and IV will be level 2 elite marker.
-See photo showcase on how it should look

When moved on Elite monster spot:
-Move character to the left most spot.
-Draw the top card of the appropriate elite monster deck and place on your board.
-The first player to stop on the elite monster marker must draw a monster card and place it on their board. Other players when moving may not skip the elite marker spot. They must move to an open elite marker spot and draw the top card of the appropriate deck and place on their board.
-For the purposes of the treasure chest, whoever is the left most spot of the horizontal row is considered next in line.

Act V Elite Monsters:
Instead of placing 5 pairs of demons, place 5 pairs of 1 level 1 elite monster and 1 level 2 elite monster. (This is scripted by pressing the button). After defeating the pair of elite monsters, draw 3 cards from the loot chest. Keep one and put the rest back.

Act VI Elite Fury Deck:

When setting up the battle board for act VI, replace the last fury card with an Elite Fury card from the Elite Fury deck. If playing Hard or higher difficulty, add 1-3 Elite Fury cards after the last fury card placed. (Inferno would be 12 cards long). I would recommend keeping the Demon Lord roar cards to 3 rows max. (Delete this deck in coop)
New Icon:

Choose a dice and re-roll it.

Coop Rules:
Setup is the same as in a regular game , with the following exceptions:
- Use expansion content.
- Players start with no bonus potions or starting cards.
-Players replace their extra dice skill with their coop skill
- Legion Deck:
1)Find the Legion Deck (in coop bag)
2)Place the Legion Deck on the Legion Deck Board
3) For each player, add 3 Legion cards to the Act VI Legion Deck Board
-For the difficulty of the game, adjust the Legion deck:
Normal: Add no cards to the Act VI Legion Deck Board
Hard: Add the top 1 cards of the Legion deck on the Act VI Legion Deck Board
Nightmare: Add the top 2 cards of the Legion deck on the Act VI Legion Deck Board
Inferno 1: Add the top 3 cards of the Legion deck on the Act VI Legion Deck Board
Inferno 2+ : Add the top 4, 5, 6 ect cards for increasing difficulty.
-Legion Cards placed on the Act VI Legion Deck Board will be used in Act 6.

CHANGES IN GAMEPLAY:
When a player rest (including A Brief Respite), place the card on the Legion Rest Board on the Act VI Legion Deck Board. If there is no card on the Legion Rest Board, place
the top card of the Legion deck on the Legion Rest Board.
Beware, a bigger Final Battle deck will be harder to overcome when you face the Demon Lord.

Acts V:
Play through Act V as usual with the phases Breaching the Walls. For The Demon Lord Appears step, only place board VI (no demon lord cards are placed on the cathedral). Call to Arms happens as usual but you do not add new Demon Lord cards. Go directly to A Brief Respite, then skip Demon Lord's Answers.

Acts VI
Set up the battle with the Demon Lord. Changes from the standard game:
- All Legion cards collected from the Act VI Legion Deck Board are placed on the Act 6 board (state 3 on the middle board). Place the Legion Deck on the top middle spot. Then place a Legion card in the below row for each player.
-The boss demon lord card above the Legion cards is included when dealing damage in the round.
-If a player defeats a Legion card, then they must take another one.
-All Legion cards must be defeated before battling the final Demon Lord Card. If there's only one Legion card left on a players board, other players assist to fight it by rolling dice. If it is defeated remaining dice are assigned to the final Demon Lord Card.
-See the added scrolling images for example set up.

Knocked Out:
If a player is defeated before act VI, they are knocked out. Their turn ends immediately and they set their health to 10. Add 2 Legion cards to the Legion deck board.

Player death:
-If a player is defeated in act VI, their turn ends and they may no longer use any skills or abilities. Instead, on their next turns they can only take one action. They may choose an enemy card and roll a die. They may assign a hit if able. The dice cannot be modified in any way. If the hit would defeat the card, the player who was fighting the card may advance ahead and resolve any effects of the new card.

Trading:
Players may trade items and potions while at Rest.

At rest actions:
When at rest, you may choose one option. 1. You may restore your health to full. 2. You may forge your armor instead of healing. Draw a token out of the bag (Anvil). Add the ability to an armor. An armor may only have 3 abilities.

2-6 player and simultaneous turns:
-If playing with 5 or 6 players, at the start of the game each player receives 2 starting bonus cards( found in yellow bag)
-For simultaneous turns, players take the actions Move, Fight, and Rest at the same time. Players choose which one all players will take at the start of the turn. Use of potions and before you roll actions are also done at the same time. Simultaneous turns can be played at any player count.
-To fight, ALL players must have a monster on their board, otherwise another action must be made.
-After a player defeats their act 5 monsters they go directly into A Brief Respite while other players finish their turns.
-For Act VI set up, add 1 additional Demon Lord Boss Card. (found in yellow bag)
-Players decide which order monster effects happen.

Dual and Multi-class variant:
See in game notepad for rules.

Do you have it available on gamecrafter for a physical copy?

All the files should be in your mod folder, you can download them there.

Hey, any chance you have the files/images used for your expansion available? I'd like to try to print and play with my physical copy if possible!

Also streamlined the way the legion deck works, so hopefully easier to understand and build.

My youtube video is a little out of date since i changed some of the rules and cards but follows the same concept.

So be sure to read the rules text for most up to date rules.

1) im not sure about the black out on card glitch. I have to look into more i havnt run into that

2)i dont know about bgg varients for coop id have to see it. The time tokens are used for a few coop legion cards.

3) the building of the legion deck is for act 6 coop. You delete the elite fury deck in coop. Coop doesnt work without the resting mechanic and building the legion deck for the end.

For competive play ignore the coop bag. Use the elite fury cards at act 6 for added difficulty.

Sorry for the long post
1. Black out card glitches off script?
2. More bgg coop? The coop time tokens?
3. How’s act 6 work again? And that stacking mechanic purpose?

Awesome job, will there be more?
