I am no longer playing or modding Conan Exiles. If this mod breaks and you want to continue it, contact me using discord and I can send you the mod dev files as they are.


Purge Thrall Spawning designed for the Eccentric Exiles Server.

Since Update 2.1, Purge Thralls are not as important so this mod may not be needed on your server. It will still be updated as we still use it :)

This adds MOST of the Purge only spawns into the same spawn tables as the level 4 thralls.

Relic Hunter Purge Thralls now only spawn inside the Relic Hunter Robber Areas:
- 1/15 chance for each robber to be a named purge thrall (professional thrall)
- 3/5 chance for the boss to be a named purge thrall (Archer, Fighter, or Taskmaster)

If you find a Purge Thrall in an odd area (wrong faction) or have any other bug reports, let me know in the comments below.

Modding and Server Discord
I have a discord server for both my mods, and my servers. Bug reports can be sent to me on discord too. Joining discord does not auto give you access to the server, but I may let you access depending on who you are.

Hi Robcat ... the devkit is surprisingly easy to figure out. Adding spawns means editing the SpawnData table (and implement a Mod Controller) ... the wiki also has a lot of very simple guides. Just make sure to read the wiki and not edit the data tables directly. Using Mod Controller is easy and makes compatibility super simple.

I started with zero experience with Unreal.

If you need any specific advice once you have downloaded the devkit ... feel free to ask :) I will always be available to help ... you will find the modding community very helpful tbh :)

Hey Eccentric Satyr, I'm considering trying to create a mod myself that adds ALL the purge thralls (possible) into the spawn tables...

I don't want to impose, but I have zero mod-creating experience so I was hoping you could point me in the right direction (since you've already made a mod that virtually does this).

How difficult/time-consuming would it be to familiarise myself with the devkit enough to accomplish this? Is it something a novice could attempt? Any tips?

thanks :) I know it isn't for everyone. We just don't have the purge on our server (too buggy) so we needed the level 4 purge crafters.

Personally, I wish you had added the fighters & archers in, as what initially attracted me to this mod was the idea of being able to more easily collect all the thralls without having to build separate bases all over the map. I've got a bit of a gotta catch 'em all thing going on lol.

As it is, this mod isn't worth it for me as I've never felt the lack of specific crafter-thralls.

Cool mod though.

This mod will not conflict as it uses Mod Controller to add the spawns. As for which ones are missing ... the few instances where there was not a level 4 spawn for a faction but there was level 4 purge spawns are the ones that are missing ... I also did not put most of the fighters and archers in as they are not needed for single player.

Also, would this mod conflict at all with others that add thralls to the spawn tables?
e.g. Emberlight, Stone Statues etc.

That is correct. Not all purge thralls are there but most are. The only "bug" is that the Purge Thralls in the Relic Hunter City attack on sight.

Am i reading this right? Wherever you can find a Tier 4 thrall you could instead find a purge only thrall? Perfect for single player
