Paste the two cfg file(s) in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg
If you're game is open while doing this, you have to refresh by opening console (~) then typing "exec autoexec" without quotes.

So I need help, When I launch it from the pinned windows bar itll load up perfectly.. But When I start l4d from my libary The Autoexec disappears. I gotta launch with -insecure in order for it to work

CFG files are files that can be executed in the games console, so no it's not a virus. Also, I don't understand why someone would make a virus/malware and spread it non-anonymously, I mean I would rather not spend five years in state prison. You can also read through the cfg and see for yourself that it's safe.

Why not just read the CFG file and do it yourself?

You can't upload to workshop; you can't change cfg files with vpk files anymore.
