Outdated, check out this for better quality and up-to date releases with new assets

This is part 1 in a series of workshop releases that are made to expand the Half-Life Alyx assets library with remade Half-Life 2 assets. These are especially useful if you are seeking to remake some of the original levels or just need those specifics assets for something you are doing, either will do just fine.

Features:
- 9 unique models in this pack (including The Citadel!)
- Uses the original file paths from HL2 (where applicable)
- Some of the models have VR interactivity (might not be the case with every model)

Questions & Answers
Q: Can I use these assets in my addon for HL:A/something on a different engine?
A: You can, but please credit the authors listed in the Credits portion of this description. These assets are allowed to be used by everyone non-commercially, given proper credit is provided to the asset authors. For further information, contact the team.

Q: Besides the models are you guys thinking about redoing some of the levels?
A: No such plan as of right now, just the assets. You do the rest, if you want :)

Usage Instructions
  1. Locate the VPK file named "2147014896" in "steamapps\workshop\content\546560\2147014896\"
  2. Extract it using a tool such as VRF[vrf.steamdb.info], and put the contents in "steamapps\common\Half-Life Alyx\game\hlvr_addons\your_addon_name_goes_here"
  3. Open your addon in Half-Life: Alyx's workshop tools.
  4. That's it! The assets should be visible from the asset browser, and usable in your maps.

Plonked the remade Citadel into one of the Alyx maps.

those are weird choices of things to remodel. I understand the torture chair and the orange cart, but those random railway props are odd choices

Do these models support player interactions like walking across surfaces and walls? Assets look great in hammer, but I clip through assets.

Is there a list of all the object names somewhere, or am I missing something about how to easily find them amidst all the vanilla HLA props?

Find the file you want to extract, open it using the VPK application, which is located in the bin folder and transfer the extracted files to the directory of your addon.

Hello @Fat Cat, they will not work if they are decompiled and placed in the game folder, you must extract them as-is from the VPK.
