here a Quick Guide for both Achievements (No Loose Ends, The New Boss)

What to do
The Achievements in Mafia 3 are Utterly broken. Every Achievement with a progress Bar Does not work properly. If you have bad luck, some Achievements are not obtainable without a workaround.

  • First you Need to delete the cache-File & Client-File in the Mafia 3 Main Folder
  • Disable Cloud-Save
  • Block Mafia 3.exe and Launcher in Windows Firewall.
  • You did everything right, if there is no Advertisement for Mafia I Remake in the Main Menu
  • The Achievements are only obtainable, if you kill / Flip all Bosses in one Game Session, without closing the Game. This Counts for the other Achievements with Progress Bars as well.
  • Here the Link for the Save Games

  • Put the first Savegame in the Savegame Folder
  • Start the Game, kill / Flip the Underboss
  • Pause the Game, and Tab to Desktop
  • Change The Savegames in the Folder
  • Tab back into the Game and Reload Checkpoint
  • You should now be able to kill/Flip the Next set of Underbosses
  • Do it with the other Saves as well -> Achievement will pop up

Thanks a lot! Steps 1 and 3 are not really neccesary. And step 2 optional if u want to save a back up of your own save game first. Beyond that. It worked perfect swaping the saves! I salute you! :headcrab:

disable cloud save, only blocked both "Mafia III Definitive edition" in firewall, clear cache file in main folder, and make everything next by guide

Great guide, still works as of April 17, 2025. I'm also stuck on the achievements for killing 17 informants and getting both endings. Do you have any tips on how to get those easily?

I cannot thank you enough for this guide! I've been through hell and back with this games achievements, finally got down to only having No Loose Ends left after doing two full playthroughs for it while getting some other missing achievements and I wasn't looking forward to doing another playthrough just for a chance to get that final achievement. I decided to do a google search and stumbled across your guide and it worked like a charm first try. (Important side note to anyone following this guide in 2025, you only need to disable steam cloud, that's all I did and I had no issues at all.) :BL3Thumbsup:
