1982-2020 Takeda HDXL3300 Pump

The HD-series is Takeda's heavy duty American-spec and Australian-spec truck platform. These trucks are extremely powerful and come in an incredibly wide assortment of body styles and frame setups. The name denotes the setup of the truck, with HDXL being the off-highway version and 3300 signaling that it has 3 axles total with all 3 of them powered, making this a 6x6. This drivetrain is powered by a 700hp 18L Anderson turbodiesel engine.
This particular truck is spec'd to serve in the oil industry as a heavy duty pump to be used in oil fields. The pump is powered by a 27L V12 Anderson turbodiesel. The full 6 wheel drive system lets it traverse fairly difficult terrain, however the very stiff suspension of the HDXL lineup does not give it good articulation.
