TTT_Borealis

Beskrivelse
I ported the Borealis from the Half-Life 2 beta to L4D2 a few years ago, and more recently figured it might work well as a TTT map. Includes some completely unnecessary but neat-looking eye candy features, such as animated sea waves and a 3D skybox illusion that the whole ship is bobbing and rolling. If this gives you bad performance (or nausea), entering "r_3dsky 0" in the console might help.
This is only the first version, and may be updated with more traitor traps and extra detail etc. if it works out well and I have the time. Please let me know about any bugs.

Love the map! Wish when NPC's or players fell overboard that they'd fall under the water and be hidden.

This is so cool, I rarely get to see maps with a more dynamic skybox, so this was a real treat to see!

Damn, I am currently looking at a bunch of ship maps for TTT and this got to be the best looking one. It has water with waves, awesome background ambience, good lighting and an awesome looking ship. This swaying skybox is rather simple when you think about it, but when I first loaded the map I was truly amazed that this ship seems to be moving.

I have yet to play it with my friends, but It seems a bit small. Opening the locked doors all over the map and adding crew quarters, a canteen, a kitchen and bathrooms would probably improve it a lot. Also the aft of the ship is not accessible, which adds to the feeling that the ship is too small

For sure one of the best maps I've played on! Excellent layout and awesome skybox design.
