First need to make the game modifiable
  • Download the latest version of this tool [github.com]. You only need the main archive, not the source code.
  • Unpack the archive with software like 7zip or PeaZip
  • Launch the tool through its .exe
  • For the file to unpack, select BeyondTwoSouls_Steam.exe found in the main game folder.
  • Click on Unpack File.
  • If succeeded, remove or back up the original game exe, then rename the .unpacked file to match the original name (BeyondTwoSouls_Steam.exe).
  • Done! The game executable is ready for modification.
Use patcher to remove borders
  • Unpack the archive [community.pcgamingwiki.com] with software like 7zip (password to archive - pcgw), then patch the main game exe with the tool.
This will remove the letterboxing (black bars) from the game, resulting in more vertical FOV than ever before. There will be some vertical stretching of the menu and subtitles.

cубтитры не иногда растягивает а всегда. просто если они в одну строку то всё равно влезают в верхнюю строчку. но поскольку модов для гуя у игры нет, это всё равно приятнее :) а учитывая как давно все её прошли видимо уже и не будет

Сначала после патча показалось что картинка растянута, но сравнив скриншоты убедился в обратном. Рабочая темка :tu1:

do not delete the original exe, just rename it and move it to a different folder

Извините за вопрос не в тему, а как игру запустить в 2к? У меня просто монитор 1920x1080 я использую пользовательское разрешение.

Играю на английской озвучкЭ с русскими субтитрами. Некоторые субтитры уходит за экран и невозможно прочесть. Кто играет с русской озвучкой, не будет проблем.
