Description:
Improves the Silencer to make it a little more useful.

Dinos who are shot with a Silencer receive bonus damage, if out of combat and have a chance to not react to the damage. Configurable.

Out of the box, works on all vanilla weapons that support the silencer.

SneakDamageMultiplier=2.5
SneakIgnorePlayerChance=0.7

Configs Explained:
SneakDamageMultiplier=Damage multiplier of silenced shots, if the target is unaware.

SneakIgnorePlayerChance=Percentage chance that silenced shots will not alert dinos(0.7 being 70%)

AdditionalWeaponSupport: A comma delimited list of additional weapons(mod or otherwise) you want the bonuses applied to. This should be the Weap item, NOT the Primal Item.

Notes:
  • This alters the vanilla silencer. No need to craft anything else. It works on all vanilla weapons that support the silencer.
  • If you use mod weapons/silencers/etc and want the effects of this mod to work, you can add the weapon to the config line listed above. No guarantees on this working for all/any modded items.
  • I will not be directly supporting modded items.
  • For AdditionalWeaponSupport, only weapons that use bullets will work. Anything with a projectile(tranqs, crossbow, etc) will not work.

You mean it makes no sense why the game is crashing? If so... yeah lol. But I have had nothing but issues since Genesis 2 launched. Had to remove 2 other mods that also caused crashing after the update and now I can't play offline, launching the game while offline produces an instant crash at the Main Menu. Regardless, hope to see you update when the DevKit update rolls out :)

@Phayden Author told me it likely won't work with anything that has ini customizable damage values (not sure if that mod does). I have tried it with like a dozen weapon mods and it doesn't work for any of them.

Very good mod, makes the silencer not useless in single player, unfortunately it doesn't work with the multi attachment mods I use (https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=512609530 to be exact) so I have to go without a scope for it to work, but still an excellent mod none-the-less

Awesome mod, works exactly how the Silencer should work in ARK. I've got a question though, and wanted to see if anyone thought to test it; if you use a multi-attachment mod (like one that combines the silencer with a scope), will the bonuses still work? Can imagine a longneck rifle with a combo scope and silencer being VERY op.
