Basics
The goal of Junctions is to fill every square in the grid with a line, while fulfilling these conditions:

- Every number must have exactly that number of lines connected to it
- There must be NO loops inside the grid.

In Simply Puzzles: Junctions, just click on the corner of a cell to draw a line to that point. Click again to erase it.

At any time you can:

UNDO: Undo your last moves

CLEAR: Clear the grid and start again

SHOW MISTAKE: Show one mistake. If you clear this mistake, you can then see another if you click again. Nothing will show if there's no mistakes!

A small note about loops. These can be any size, from 4 lines up. They will NOT always be square. Here are some examples.

Hints and Tips
Read this part if you're stuck. It describes some situations you should learn to recognise. Spotting these patterns will help you with the tougher puzzles.

NUMBER 4

Easy - all 4 lines surrounding must be connected.

2 ON EDGE

Since it's on the edge, both of the squares need lines pointing toward it.

0 ON EDGE

Point both lines away from the number.

1 IN CORNER

It's in a corner, so only touches one square. So point the line at it.

2 1s IN A LINE
If you think through this logically, the only possible configuration for two number 1s is this.

Otherwise a loop would form around them. This is ONLY true if neither of the numbers is on an edge.
Then you can see the two lines in the centre will be in the same direction. So when you find out what one is, the other comes for free!

2 3s IN A LINE
Similar to the above, if you think through the possibilities, two 3s, when not on the edge, must end up looking like this.

2 1s DIAGONAL

Two diagonally opposite 1s not at the edge can also never connect. Otherwise, as you can predict, a loop would form around them.
