Escape from City 17's Prison

Beskrivning
Story
You are Alyx Vance, Russel failed to save you from the Metropolice and you have been transported to a temporary prison which has been occupied by the Combines. You don't know how but, on one evening, all the cells got opened and the prisoners tried to escape. The Combines though managed to stop the escapers and preceded to kill them all. It's up to you, now, to escape. Reach the parking garage, jump in the green SUV and drive away.

Developer's important notes
This is my first experience with Hammer, therefore this map won't took too long to beat. I want to keep this campaign going so next chapter will be better.
Remember to actually get in the car in the parking garage to successfully beat the map!

down voted this one mainly because the combine weren't using their AI very well. Map was good, interaction/battles too easy.

Very cool map. I loved all the Combine warfare, and the industrial building atmosphere. It was a little strenuous at times, but overall I really like this!

Thank you everyone for the kind comments and for the positive, constructive criticism!

A long time has passed since I released this, lots has changed. I wish I had the patience to work on more maps for HL:A, when I released this I was very excited to push more content on the Workshop but my interests shifted towards 3D modeling because I discovered I really love it.
Hammer is great but it can give so many hard times that when you're alone with large ideas it becomes a sufference more than a pleasure.

OK, great map, I enjoyed it very much. I thought it was well thought out, no glitches I saw. I do have a comment or two, and please note, these are not criticisms, as I don't have any. I'll also mention that having hundreds of hours of playing HLA, perhaps this may not be valid for the average player. I thought there was may too much ammo available, and to easily, along with the fairly easy combat. This did not stop me form having fun though, it was great! Keep up the great work...

Some really minor visual glitches (texture overlays, one sided faces) and at one part a bit of judder.

This was a fun mod. The story-line is there, so when and where you find guns and ammo makes sense; thoughtful even. The enemies are interesting. The spaces have detail. Good work!! :steamthumbsup:

Considering this was your first time using Hammer, this effort is really fantastic. Some visual issues and frame lag were the major things holding it back, but beginning to end it was fun and challenging: https://youtu.be/KZDQfs9Hgik
