Once you join into BadLads you may be wondering how you might go about dropping money to other players, or maybe you found yourself stuck and need to respawn. Well you can do so with these super simple commands.

Dropping Money

Once you have chosen a server to join you will want to go and talk to the Employer(See below). There are four of them around where you first spawn.



Once you talk to the Employer (By pressing E on him) you will be able to choose between one of five roles. (Paramedic, Civilian, Gangster, Arms Dealer, Car Salesmen) More roles will become available once you purchase them.

As you play you will receive a passive income based on the current economy. This is the way to make money as a civilian, other than begging of course.

To make money with other roles you can do the following. (I will go into more detail for each job later in the guide)

Paramedic: Paramedics receive the passive income, but for role play you could charge a small fee for healing someone.

Taxi Driver: As a Taxi Driver you are able to set a price for every 1000M driven. The game will automatically charge your clients.

Builder: As a builder you can sell your services, or you could sell a build tool and then furniture for the clients.

Police Officer: As a police officer you can charge law breakers a fine, but you will have to do so through RP as there is no system in place for it . Or if you want a more direct approach you could get a search warrant for a home suspected of having printers. Printers which you could empty and destroy to gather the money from them.. as evidence of course.

Gangster: As a gangster you are able to purchase printers from the black market and place them down, preferably behind closed doors... for safety reasons. You could also go after rival gangs printers and take them all for yourself.

Gun Dealer: As a gun dealer you have the unique ability to purchase guns and ammo from the market place, you can set up a shop and sell these guns and ammo at a mark up. (Setting up a shop will covered later in the guide)

Vehicle Salesmen: As a vehicle salesmen you have the unique ability to purchase cars from the market place, you can sell these cars at a mark up to anyone wanting to buy one. Make sure they pay upfront, you don't want to spend your own cash on the car.

These are just some examples of how to make money. In truth you could do anything that you can RP well. If you're really convincing you could get people's money by performing magic tricks.

The Economy in BadLads is pretty fragile. Once someone starts buying and setting up a few printers it drops down by quite a bit. Everyone's pay is based on the Economy, a high Economy could have you receiving 250$ every so often, where as a lower economy would have you receiving around 60$.
The average Economy is $2.0, it can get as low as $0.500 .

You can check the status of the Economy by looking at the Billboard located down the main road.

One of the first jobs you can take is that of a Paramedic. It is a vital job as they are the only ones in the city capable of healing someone.


When you select the role of Paramedic from the employer you will spawn in front of the Police Station.


If the doors are unlocked you can head inside, if they are locked you will need to call the Police Chief.

Once inside you want to head to the Hospital section of the building.


From here you want to turn to your left and purchase the Basic Medical Supplies from the stations on the wall.


Now you can start being a Paramedic with just the Med Kit, but if you want to travel around the map quickly you'll need your ambulance. This can be obtained by purchasing the Advance Medical Supplies from the table located on the opposite side of the room.


Once you have your Ambulance key you can head outside to one of the Parking Meters. From here you will interact and select Garage. Then you will be able to press the Drive button on the Ambulance to spawn it in.




Basic Ambulance Controls: L = head lights | H = Horn | R = Sirens
If you flip your Ambulance, you can un-flip it by holding E on the ambulance with your Key in hand and select Flip in the Radial Menu.


Now to finish up with the Paramedic. Remember you can make money passively by just wandering around and enjoying the game. Or you could charge people for heals. Up to you. Enjoy your time as a Paramedic!

Once you have saved up a little bit of cash you can pay to unlock the Taxi Driver from the Employer.


Don't worry this is a one time payment (per server), However after you purchase the Driver role you will need to purchase your Taxi. This will have to be done every time you switch to this role.

By hitting F1 you will access the Ui which is unique to your role, in this case it is the screen where you can purchase the taxi.


After Purchasing your Taxi simply go to the nearest Parking Meter and Select Garage, then click Drive next to the Taxi.




Now that you have your Taxi spawned in you can get started driving. The game will automatically set your Rate at $10/1000M, you can change this rate to whatever you'd like. Heck you could even make it 0.


To change your rate, simply hold down E on your Taxi while holding your Key. A radial Menu will pop up. You want to select the Green dot that says Change Rate.


Enter your new number, and then you're ready to set off on your money making ventures.



Basic controls for the Taxi, L = Lights | H = Horn | R = Eject Passenger
If you flip your vehicle you can un-flip it by holding E with your Key in hand and select Flip in the Radial Menu.


Enjoy your time as a Taxi Driver, and remember " Nothing good ever comes cheap" Sell your work and make it worth the money.

To get started as a Cop you will need to purchase the Role from an Employer. This is a one time purchase.(Per Server)

After you have selected the Role of Police Officer you will spawn in front of the Police Station.


From here you will want to walk inside, if the doors are locked call for the Police Chief in Global Chat.
Once inside turn to your left and head towards the Police side of the Building, as the Hospital is here as well.


First off you will want to turn to your right and purchase the Basic Police Gear, this consist of a Taser, and Handcuffs.


After you have received your Basic Gear you will want to purchase the Advanced Gear. This can be found on the opposite side of the room from the Basic Gear. The Advanced Gear consist of A Gun, 64 round of ammo, a Flashlight, and the key to your very own Police Cruiser.


After you have grabbed all your gear head on outside to the Parking meter to spawn in your Cruiser.

**Known Bug: If you are holding the key to your police cruiser and it does not show up in the Garage, move the Key around your inventory. **

Now you're ready to Patrol the streets, here are the basics of what you'll be doing.

Arresting People
As a cop you'll be stopping a lot of crime and arresting many criminals. To do this all you need to do is use your Handcuffs to detain them. The handcuffs require you to hold down left click on your target for at least 4 seconds. They will then be detained for 20 seconds and be unable to draw a weapon of any kind. The handcuffs will be removed automatically after the 20 seconds are up.


Tasers
Should your suspects become un-manageable you could always give them a shock from your taser to calm them down. The Tasers do 10 points of damage per hit. but they will not kill someone. The taser has no other effects as of yet and will not stop your target from moving. This requires RP and trust.

Raids
One of your jobs as an officer of the law is to stop those illegal money printers. To do this you will need to gather your evidence and search the city for money printers. Once you have found the location of the printers you need to prepare a raid. To do this you will need to purchase Warrant Papers.With these Warrant Papers you can Left Click on a locked door while holding them to create a warrant for the property. Once you have created a warrant you will need to have it signed by the Police Chief

To do this you will need to drop the Warrant Papers on the ground with Q, the Police Chief can then sign the papers and they will be valid for a few minutes. The Papers don't last forever so it's best to do it on site.

Once you have had the papers signed off on. You can use them Just like a key to unlock and door on the property. Simply hold E and select unlock.


Once you're inside find the money printers and collect the evidence from them, then destroy them all to save the Economy from the evil money printers.

That is all for the Police Officer, the Chief of Police works similarly. However as Chief of Police you are able to lock and unlock the doors for both the Police Station and the Presidential Tower. You also have the Ability to demote officers and paramedics who fail to do their job. To do this press F1 and select the trouble makers. Please do not Abuse this power. Nothing sucks more than having fun in RP and someone randomly demotes you. If you become police chief, Role play a police chief.


I hope you enjoy your time in the Vegas City Police Force. Remember, better Economy equal better pay.

One of the roles you will have unlocked right away is the Gangster role.


As the Gangster you will have access to the Black Market (Use F1), in this market you will be able to purchase Lockpicks, Low Tier Printers, and Toilet Paper


Another ability of the Gangster is to join a Gang. In order to do this, all you need to do is pick up a Gang hat and place it into your head slot.


As a Gangster you will want to follow your boss around, as he is capable of buying higher tier printers and gear. A large gang could build up a large printing operation and make serious bank. Just be careful that the cops don't find out.

Gangster Boss

For the low cost of 500$ you can start your own gang and become a Gangster Boss.


As a Gang Boss you gain access to the Advanced Black Market (Use F1). Where you can buy everything from the normal Black Market plus a High Tier Printer, A Gang Hat, Handcuffs, and a Car Bomb.


As the Gang Boss you are able to invite Gangsters to join your Gang by dropping a Gang Hat. Simply hold it in your hand and drop it with Q.

To start setting up your printers you will need to purchase one from the Black market and drop it on the ground with Q.


The Printers will slowly build up efficiency over time, Once your efficiency is maxed out at 100% you will be making the real profits. However you need to be careful as each printer can only hold a certain amount of money before it takes damage.

The Low Tier Printer will max out at $1000 before it starts taking damage.

The High Tier Printer will max out at $3000.
