Chop is dish is a side-scrolling pixel platformer that requires you to finish the game without running out of lives--there are no continues. Luckily, there are a few details you can exploit to make the job easy. That's the purpose of this guide.

There are 15 achievements in total. They are as follows:

Achievements automatically earned for completing the game on any difficulty.


Strategy: Although the game has no continues, save scumming is possible. If you hit an enemy, immediately ESC and exit. Continue the game, and you'll be reset to the beginning of the stage, no lives lost. It's very hard to do this if you fall into a pit, because you respawn almost immediately, so be careful.

These are achievements for repetitive tasks.


Strategy: Contrary to the achievements page, kills are not counted, but rather hits against standard enemies. These carry over between plays and do not need to be completed in one playthrough. However, all of these can be abused with save scumming. By intentionally exiting a stage, you can re-encounter the same enemies to target with weapons, and your total meat carries over.

These are achievements for picking up items.


Strategy: Abuse the training stage. The guaranteed mask is a real chest, meaning it's random. Repeat it until you find all four. The Burger can be found in the first world's secret area, which is behind a wall with an arrow sign pointing at it. This is obvious, because the arrow is pointing the wrong way (to the left). Leap into the wall and keep holding left, and the room will be revealed.

These are achievements with special requirements.
