I wish the game had a little more granularity in traits and the ability to upgrade them. Like have a 1 point, 2 point, 3 point version of every traits where it makes sense, with the bonus increasing. The same with the negatives too.

Like have 1 point adaptive version that only gives 5% and a 3 point that gives 15%. Same with the age traits, enduring is only 1 point and venerable is a massive 4 points, lots of room for granularity between. Why not a 1 point "smart" trait that gives only +5% research, or a 4 point genius trait that gives +15 or something.

Would love a mod like that combined with your trait upgrader! I'd so often rather upgrade an existing traits by a point or two than tack on something new.

@gavinfoxx: Those mods must overwrite 04_species_traits.txt , and would therefore be incompatible with this one. I could make versions of this mod for use with one or more of those mods that also let you upgrade Rapid Breeders to Fecund, but I'd need to know what specific mods to adjust it for.

Do you think you could make one that bumps Rapid Breeders to Fecund? Lots of mods enable access to Fecund early!
