The stats of the weapons are displayed at max condition and 37 Strength which is currently the highest you can achieve (Alpha 0.9.3) by only killing enemies with melee weapons from level 1 to 30.

If you are looking for a particular weapon, pay attention to the handle and the guard in the screenshots.
