The tutorial was great, well done!

I spent hours looking for Molys and here's what I learned:

Always wear the Ghillie Mantle (they flee even from afar).

Eat the ‘Curious Quencher Platter’ (with Gourmet Voucher) for the ‘Felyne ZooMaster’ skill.

Palicoes and Big Monsters (while using the mantle) don’t scare them ( proof ).

Tailraiders might scare them even with mantle—test first using native life and whistle.

They can appear in both spots in one biome simultaneously. Don’t skip the second spot.

You only need one regular and one special Moly (from any biome) for the achievement.

They won’t show if you wait—leave and return to the biome.

Special Molys are rare. Check carefully before capturing a regular one.

Specials only appear from biome level 5+. Don’t bother if below that.

Confirming the previous comment, I caught a regular mole and a special one, both from the forest, and I got the achievement.

Can confirm that the achivement (Creatures of the Earth) has a misleading description. You don't have to catch a moly from every region but rather one rare moly from ANY region.

So you can just use your high-level (5-7 lvl) regions to farm the achivement there.

As of 2024 this Achievement is still broken. All I did was catch one normal moly and one coral moly and it popped.

Excellent guide, one observation tho, you said you never level your guiding lands but to get a tempered Teostra like in your screenshots you need to have a level 7 zone so.... maybe you leveled them A LOT without noticing lmao

i caught one forest moly and the achievement popped. no idea why, it was the third moly i've caught, ever. thanks for the guide though, it helped me find the forest moly

Here the thing , I did look your guide 1st thing 1st its very nice and places are right but the 2nd thing is ppl that do said about the moly show at lvl 5 is true. YOU NEED to have region moly you looking for to be lvl 5 I spend 3 days trying to get all of them and have 2 most food ppl use, that microzoo and Zoomaster food talent. Moly show a lot when you do have this things and they DO NOT show IF you don't have that specific region to lvl 5 minimum. When you have food dont go to Astera . Seliana or Resurche base, go around the all other location you still will have food on you. when you go to location where your moly is is u got it open map fly around to any location and then go back to GL and check spot again do that for all Moly you need and you will have them all.

Other monsters can scare off the moles. The mantle's cooldown takes forever even with the skill to speed it up. Had these things run away because of monster interference so many times now. I really hate trying to look for these.
