Achievement Commitment Guide

In order to get this achievement you just need to:

1) Set your time to 23:58, Monday.
2) Launch the game.
3) I'm not sure about starting to play, but I did.
4) Then you should set your computer to go into hibernation mode.
5) Turn off and then turn on the computer.
6) But don't boot into the system, go into the BIOS.
7) Change the system time to about 23:57, Tuesday.
8) Save, exit and boot into the system.
9) Play a game a bit and enjoy getting an achievement!

  • Make sure to turn sync with Windows (or other) time servers off in Date/Time settings. Depending on the speed of your computer (and the last time it synced) that may throw things off. Windows can correct your time almost instantly, before you are able to switch back into the game. After turning time sync off the guide should work.

  • If you are having trouble getting hibernate to work on Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 8.1 try going to power options - change plan settings - change advanced power settings - Expand "Sleep" - Set "Enable Hybrid Sleep" to off .
    If that doesn't do the trick open an administrator command prompt and type: powercfg -h on

Nice guide, this still works in 2025 on Windows 11.

I'd recommend following n2k 's additional instructions below, if you are having trouble.

Got it with this guide, thanks to all, BUT my Windows 10 calendar was messed up so I had to reinstall it. That somehow made the Bluetooth unstable which was not fixable by any driver/device reinstall, so I did a System Restore and all is now well. Worth creating a Restore Point before you do any of this just in case!

This isn't working and I don't know why. For whatever reason, after changing the time in the BiOS, my laptop just decides to fix the time to the actual current time and keep it on Monday immediately as it loads the login screen every time. I have "set time automatically" disabled so it shouldn't be doing that. Maybe Windows just does that prior to login regardless of the sole user's settings? Maybe I have to disconnect from the internet entirely to prevent it? Dunno, but it's aggravating.

Also, n2k, thanks to you too! I finally managed to get this achievement thanks to you two and your input!

I can confirm it for Win10, it works.
Just change your date and time setting manually for the first time by right-clicking on the time and date -> change date/time -> deactivate 'automatic time/date setting', then on the right side click on 'chance date/time setting' -> click on it again and then click on 'set date and time'. Just follow these steps and the rest of the steps mentioned by n2k and forSpeach and you should also get it.

Thanks for the guide, this still works.

Here's some feedback:
I just tested, step 3 is not required, no need play as Stanley, being in the menu is enough.

And here's a good tip to easily into the BIOS from Windows (replaces steps 4-6):

1. Press [Win] + X to open the context menu of the Start button
2. Now press A to open Windows PowerShell in Administrator mode (click Yes if a prompt appears)
3. Type shutdown /h /fw and press Enter

Step 3 will immediately hibernate your PC. When the PC is fully off, press the power button or any key on your keyboard to boot it again. It will automatically enter the BIOS. Now you can change your time and boot back into Windows, open the game backup and wait a bit to Wednesday midnight to get the achievement.
