描述
The Automated Dreadnought guardian is a beautiful ship. Which makes it a shame that it's one of a kind and that there aren't many other ships in its style.
Until now!

Behold machine ships, a fully sectioned shipset!

Machine Ships adds a new shipset in the stellaris game style. Rather than pull from some movie series or game, these ships are designed with the stellaris lore and style in mind. The shipset is accessable from the empire creation ship menu screen. It contains high quality models and ships of all kinds, including the following:

-Corvettes
-Destroyers
-Cruisers
-Battleships
-Titans
-Juggernaut
-Colossus
-Science vessel
-Stations
-Construction ships
-Megastructures!
-Even a city set by PSIONIC(creator of United Fleet)


Unlike most other shipset mods on the workshop, Machine Ships is FULLY SECTIONED meaning that all of the ship classes are made of different section and module variants. A large update that overhauls all of the models is on its way.

Does the mod support NSC?
Partially! NSC support is currently iffy as I need to do some fixes (they changed everything :p)

Does the mod work with Downscaled Ships, Real Space System Scale or Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay?
Yes, there is a patch on my workshop page.

Does the mod work with Realistic ships?
Yep, compatibility is inbuilt.

Why is the dyson sphere so garbage?
You tell me.

Habitats appear black
I know - I have not been able to replicate it on my end at all and thus cannot fix it.

IF THE MOD OR SHIPSET DO NOT SHOW UP:
Check your error.log to make sure the mod files have been found. If it reads anything like "Could not find files for mod" then some numbers, that's the paradox launcher at work. According to the Paradoxplaza, the solution is deleting the mods_registry.json file and all the ugc numbered.mod files.

This one singular piece of code is the only reason as to why this mod didn't want to work for me.
Removing it did the trick, the mod works perfectly once more.
If the mod shows up in the launcher, yet doesn't do so in the actual game, then look up that bit of code in your stellaris folder, and remove it."

Currently working on fixing things, I don't play stellaris any more (I dislike the direction 3.0+ took the game) but I'm workin on it :p

Hello, so since the mod authors haven't, I have updated the city set to the new 800x400 res which means no more "sunken city". I used a vanilla city set as a placement guide as well. The bad news, the files were blurry to begin with and my attempts to enhance them is a mixed bag. Likely the art needs to be retooled from scratch, something beyond my capabilities. Should the authors still want to include my updated files they can reach out to me and I can provide them with my work.

I do love the designs of these ships, but the shipset should be renamed due to the machine age expansion adding a shipset of the same name.

@ShintoYakura Paradox changed planetary graphics in the 4.1 update, up-scaling all the textures. This means any previous city sets that are not updated to 4.1.X will look small or merged into the ground.

Machine Shipset works fine on its own, after adding NSC3 and UI-Overhaul some of the ships cores got replaced with the Mammalian version. So at the least it sounds like an NSC3 issue, not a machine Shipset problem. I went back to just the machine shipset and the cores were fixed. :steammocking:

This mod mostly works aside from some ship types that have basically the middle section of the ship missing, to add to the pile of things to take a look at
