The Takara (treasure) is Takeda's long-running upper-midsize sedan. This particular model is a typical Japanese taxi, featuring a paint job that can only be called unique - certainly easy to spot. It features plastic bumpers and fender-mounted wing mirrors. The Takara was a popular choice for fleets in Japan, including taxis and police cars. Outside of Japan it was sold as an upmarket midsize sedan. Blatantly based on a 1980 Toyota Crown and standard Japanese taxis.
