I took a few builders early to cut to the left for more hunting room. I would recommend getting the shrines to t3 a day or two before you do your attacks, especially if they're in really bad positions.
To clear the fog on the early deforestation topic: when I made this guide, there was a bug (or feature, idk) that I noticed, in which the early hunting field around your base would continuously spawn rabbits in an abnormally large rate. However, building walls would reset this rate to its normal stage and that's why I advised against doing that. I'm not sure if it's still in the game, but I agree on that hiring one or two workers to clear some trees isn't a big drawback. Although deforestation does drain some time from your hiring trips.
Completing the game earlier is absolutely possible! I was just aiming for a "safe" guide for less experienced players. :)
Also i would like to add that, if you have enough space between your base and the first bit of forest on each side, your archers will have enough space to accumulate so much gold in a day that your purse will be overfilled.
For the others before: I made this guide years ago. I've played both other versions of this game and have learned a lot more ever since so I too do things differently now. In any case, I tested this method on multiple occasions before posting it back then and it always worked for me. I'm not saying it's the best way to do it, but it definitely works.
